In one of Egypt’s most significant terrorism-related cases 🚨, the court at مجمع محاكم بدر has postponed the trial of 115 defendants to July 12 ⚖️.
Investigations revealed that the first group of defendants led an organized entity aiming to disrupt public order and threaten national security.
Other defendants knowingly joined and contributed through:
- Financial support 💰
- Supplying weapons and explosives
- Providing logistical assistance
Some members used the internet 🌐 to coordinate activities and share operational instructions.
Notably, certain defendants received training in explosives manufacturing and weapons use 💣, and were involved in planning attacks targeting sensitive locations, including an attempted embassy attack in الزمالك.
The case also includes violent incidents, including the قتل of a security guard.
The postponement allows for further legal procedures and defense preparation, as the case continues to unfold ⚖️.
