Public Prosecution investigations, based on police inquiries, revealed details of a case involving a woman accused of intentionally killing her newborn daughter shortly after giving birth and disposing of the body at a garbage dump in Al-Marg.
According to the investigation, the woman believed that the child was the result of an illicit relationship with her husband’s cousin.

The head of the Al-Marg Police Department’s investigations unit told prosecutors that, after receiving a report about the discovery of the infant’s body, he immediately went to the scene.
He said the child showed no signs of life or pulse.
