The Public Prosecution recently read the referral order for suspects in the case of forcing a young man, “Islam Mohamed,” to wear women’s clothes in Mit Asim, Qalyubia. The order detailed that the suspects used threats and force, entered the victim’s home during the day in front of his family, and humiliated him by making him wear women’s clothing while dragging him on the ground, causing fear and distress to him and his relatives.
The trial began today, Sunday, at Banha Criminal Court for the six accused, who arrived at El-Manshiyya Court earlier for the first session, under heightened security measures to ensure proper proceedings.
