Security authorities arrested a driver from Al-Farouk Islamic Private School in Heliopolis after he stole the school bus, claiming he only wanted to “keep his right” due to a financial dispute with the school’s management.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a **school bus driver** from **Al-Farouk Islamic Private School** in Heliopolis after he stole the bus following the end of the school day.
The incident began when the school’s legal representative filed an official report accusing the driver of taking the bus after dropping off the students and failing to return it.
The suspect was soon located and arrested, and during interrogation, he admitted to stealing the vehicle, explaining that he had ongoing financial issues with the school administration. He told investigators: *“I took the bus to keep my right safe.”*
In a separate case, security forces also investigated a **viral video** on social media showing a dispute between a tuk-tuk driver and a car owner in the Talbiya area of Giza.
Authorities confirmed no official complaints had been filed, but they managed to identify and arrest the tuk-tuk driver, who had minor injuries. He admitted that an argument over the right of way escalated after the car owner began filming, leading to a confrontation that caused slight damage to his phone and vehicle.
Both vehicles were seized, and legal measures were taken against the drivers as security authorities reaffirmed their commitment to addressing all forms of misconduct or violations in public spaces.
