Lawyer Mohamed Hammouda, representing the security guard victim in an assault incident inside a residential compound, called on the court to impose the maximum penalty on the businessman accused of bullying, abuse of power, and blasphemy during Ramadan.
The defense argued that the accused exploited his wealth and influence to assault the victim, who refrained from responding due to the need to maintain his job as a security guard to support his family and provide for his children.
The lawyer emphasized that the victim could not defend himself during the incident for fear of losing his livelihood, urging the court to apply all relevant legal charges outlined in the referral order and impose the maximum penalty on the accused.
