The Ministry of Interior has launched an investigation into viral indecent videos allegedly linked to a famous singer, aiming to verify their authenticity, identify their source, and determine who is responsible for publishing them online.
Security officials confirmed that specialized cybercrime units are analyzing the footage and tracking its digital origins, with legal measures to be taken if violations of privacy or public decency are confirmed.
Meanwhile, influencer Hadir Abdel Razek appeared live on her Instagram account for the first time since the footage began circulating, tearfully explaining that her life has been destroyed by the video’s spread.
“I’m broken and devastated,” she said. “I was planning to quit social media completely, but I was shocked to see a video spreading under my name without my knowledge.”
She explained that her mobile phone remains in police custody due to an earlier TikTok-related case, insisting she has no idea how the leaked footage was released. She also revealed that the man seen in the video was her ex-husband.
“I came here to save what’s left of my dignity and my family’s name,” she said, urging followers to delete and stop sharing the video, warning that anyone spreading it “will answer before God.”
Authorities continue extensive investigations to determine who leaked the video, with the Interior Ministry applying cybercrime laws to those found guilty of violating privacy or circulating explicit material.
