Shaban Said, a lawyer representing retired actress Shams El-Baroudy, issued a warning regarding the proliferation of fake social media accounts claiming to be operated by the actress.
The statement highlighted that some accounts, including those named “Shams Elmelouk,” publish news about Shams El-Baroudy, her late husband Hassan Youssef, and their children, falsely presenting it as official, which can mislead media outlets into spreading these claims without verification.
The legal team confirmed that Shams El-Baroudy has only one official Facebook account under the name Shams Elmelouk, warning that anyone managing fake accounts or publishing unauthorized news or photos of her and her family will face strict legal action.
