Authorities in Qena discovered the body of a 12-year-old student who had been stabbed several times in the neck, found on a rural road near the village of El-Sharqi Behgoura in Nag Hammadi.
The Security Directorate received a report and dispatched a team to investigate. It was confirmed that the victim, a middle school student, had suffered fatal stab wounds to the neck.
Initial investigations revealed that the perpetrator was the victim’s brother, who stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
A formal police report was filed, and the public prosecution is conducting an investigation while authorities work to apprehend the suspect and bring him to justice.
