Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan appears before the Dokki Misdemeanor Court today in case number 9213 of 2025, over allegations that he released his song “Number One Ya Ansas” on YouTube without obtaining the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Culture. 🎬⚖️
His lawyer, Dr. Ahmed El-Gendy, stated that the matter has already been settled amicably, and the defense will present official documents confirming the reconciliation during today’s session.
El-Gendy added that this legal reconciliation effectively ends the dispute, as Egyptian law allows such cases to be dismissed once both parties agree.
The case originated when authorities accused Mohamed Ramadan of publishing and broadcasting the audiovisual work “Number One Ya Ansas” without prior authorization, violating intellectual property regulations.
The court is expected to review the reconciliation documents today and announce its decision accordingly. 🎶⚖️
