Traffic Campaigns Record 99,000 Violations and 107 Drug Use Cases in 24 Hours
The Ministry of Interior announced that nationwide traffic campaigns recorded 99,000 violations and 107 cases of drug use among drivers within a single day.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the results of intensive traffic campaigns carried out by the General Traffic Department over the past 24 hours, aimed at reducing road violations and preventing accidents.
According to the statement, the campaigns resulted in 99,000 recorded violations, including speeding, driving against traffic, and failing to comply with traffic regulations.
Additionally, 107 cases of drug use among drivers were detected through mandatory tests, with legal measures taken against the offenders.
The Ministry confirmed that these traffic campaigns are conducted daily to enhance road safety and protect citizens.
