A tragic incident occurred at the taxi stand in Badr, Beheira, resulting in the immediate death of a woman in her twenties and her infant daughter.
Investigations revealed that the victims were Dina Shaaban Badr, 22, a housewife, and her four-month-old daughter, Joura Ahmed Abdelsol, who were struck by a pickup truck towing a trailer inside the stand, causing them to fall under the wheels and die instantly.
The bodies were transferred to Badr Central Hospital’s morgue under the supervision of investigative authorities, and an official report was filed for presentation to the public prosecutor.
Security forces arrested the driver and seized the vehicle and trailer, while the Criminal Investigation Department began inquiries to determine the circumstances and details of the accident.
