The Economic Court in Cairo decided to postpone the trial of the accused who spread rumors against actress Badriya Talba, alleging her involvement in an organ trafficking gang, to February 28 for judgment.
Badriya Talba’s legal team had filed a complaint with the Public Prosecution against a person named Hisham Said, owner of a Facebook account, accusing him of publishing videos that insult and promote false information about the actress.
The complaint stated that the accused posted clips showing Badriya Talba with misleading titles and content linking her to allegations made by TikToker Marwa Bent Mubarak, exploiting these claims to defame and harm the actress.
The complaint also noted that the same account posted another clip showing actress Wafaa Amer performing a humanitarian act, but used a misleading title “The boy is lost,” falsely implying involvement in human organ trafficking.
