A tragic incident took place in Samalout Center, Minya Governorate, where an elderly man was killed after being struck by a truck while crossing the road.
Security services received an emergency report about a collision and a fatality at the entrance of Samalout. Police and ambulance teams immediately moved to the scene.
Investigations revealed that the victim was Mohamed Youssef, 66 years old, from Dairout Center. He was hit by a transport truck while attempting to cross the road, resulting in fatal injuries.
The body was transferred, a report was filed, and the Public Prosecution launched an investigation before authorizing the burial procedures.
