Giza’s security authorities revealed details of two separate assault incidents that took place in the Al-Talbia and Al-Munira Al-Gharbeya areas, resulting in the arrest of three suspects.
In the first case, a teenage boy working with a wedding troupe filed a report with Al-Talbia Police, stating that two men assaulted him sexually and recorded the incident on video to threaten him and prevent him from reporting it.
Security teams swiftly moved to the scene, identified the suspects, and arrested them. Upon interrogation, they confessed to committing the crime and filming the act. Legal measures were taken, and they were referred to the prosecution for further investigation.
In another unrelated incident, police arrested an elderly man in Al-Munira Al-Gharbeya after a complaint from a female bank employee who reported being assaulted inside a microbus while returning from work.
Authorities tracked down and detained the suspect, who admitted to the assault. Legal action was taken, and the case was referred to the prosecution.
Security officials emphasized that the police will continue to pursue such offenders rigorously, affirming that the law will be applied firmly to protect citizens and preserve community safety.
