The **Giza Criminal Court** decided on Sunday to postpone the trial of two brothers charged with **premeditated murder** in the **Al-Omraneya** district, where they allegedly killed a worker in revenge for their father’s death. The court scheduled the next session for **November 2** to continue the proceedings.
According to case number **14290 of 2024**, the defendants, identified as “R. N.” and his brother “M. T.”, were accused of murdering “M. Sh.” on **October 24, 2024**, after plotting to take revenge for their father’s killing, mistakenly believing the victim was responsible.
Prosecution investigations revealed that the first defendant, a driver by profession, fired **three bullets** from a firearm he had prepared in advance — striking the victim in the **head**, **back**, and **thigh** — causing his immediate death. The second defendant assisted by monitoring the victim’s movements and coordinating the attack.
Authorities also confirmed that the first defendant was found in possession of an **unlicensed firearm** (a handgun) and **29 live bullets**, without legal authorization. The brothers were referred to criminal court on charges of **premeditated murder** and **illegal possession of a firearm**.
