Shaaban Saeed accused the account owner of offenses including insult, spreading false information, defamation and causing disturbance.

The complaint also stated that the alleged publication caused material and moral harm to Dr. Ashraf Zaki, both in his capacity as head of the Actors Syndicate and as an Egyptian artist.

The complainant requested an immediate investigation and the necessary legal action.

Second Complaint Over the “Mohamed Seif El-Din” Account

A second complaint, numbered 1898807 for 2026, was filed against the owner and user of a Facebook account named “Mohamed Seif El-Din.”

The complaint alleges that the account published a post containing offensive statements concerning late Egyptian actress Gala Fahmy.

The complaint further alleged that the account owner committed acts that could fall under provisions of Egypt’s Penal Code, as well as legal provisions concerning the misuse of social media and information and communications technology.

Legal Action Requested

Shaaban Saeed requested that the relevant authorities promptly investigate the allegations and take the necessary legal measures.

He also called for the accused party in the second complaint to be referred to criminal trial based on the offenses established by the investigation.
