The General Administration for Combating Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Crimes detected the suspects' activity and found that they had established and operated a wireless television broadcast network known as “Sat link.”
Investigations indicated that the network received several encrypted and unencrypted satellite channels before rebroadcasting them wirelessly using a special encryption system, without obtaining the required permits from the competent authorities.
