Two Neighbors Arrested After Children’s Play Leads to Street Fight in Beheira
Egypt’s Ministry of Interior revealed details of a neighborhood fight in Beheira that erupted due to children’s play, resulting in injuries on both sides. Police intervened and arrested those involved.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has disclosed the circumstances behind a street fight in Beheira Governorate, after a video of the incident circulated widely on social media showing a group of residents engaged in a violent quarrel.
According to the investigation, on October 7, Badr Police Station received a report about a fight between a woman with bruises and abrasions and a man also injured, both living in the same neighborhood.
Preliminary findings confirmed that the altercation stemmed from a dispute over children’s play and neighborhood disagreements, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. Both parties attacked each other, causing mutual injuries.
Police officers promptly arrested both individuals, who later admitted to their involvement in the fight as stated in the report. Legal procedures were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
