A tragic incident occurred shortly before Iftar, when a man stabbed a woman in the neck and injured her daughter in the street of Ezbet El Nakhl. Both victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities received the report and rushed to the scene, finding that the attack stemmed from prior disputes between the attacker and the victims. The suspect was arrested, and the women were taken to the hospital while the public prosecutor was notified to follow up with the investigation.
In a separate incident in the same area, a group of thugs attacked a young man inside an apartment entrance using bladed weapons, causing his death before he could reach the hospital.
