The Cairo New District Criminal Court heard the testimony of the 14th suspect's wife in a case involving an organized gang for manufacturing and distributing narcotics.
She told the court:
"I was arrested at my mother's house and informed that I was accused of drug trafficking. Nothing was found with me, including my cars."
She added that coercion was applied to her to determine her husband's involvement, asserting he had no connection to the case or the main defendant.
The court continues to try 28 suspects, with previous sessions reporting searches of suspects' homes without discovering any narcotics.
Other witness statements confirmed that some suspects and their families faced harassment during arrests, prompting the court to issue strict remarks on search procedures.
