The classic Erangel map will be covered in snow, turning into the "Frozen Funland" — complete with new areas like Penguinville and Penguin Cities, where players can explore interactive spots, find themed loot, and experience weather effects that impact visibility and movement.

The 4.1 update adds magical snowboards for faster movement across frozen surfaces, penguin-shaped vehicles that shoot slowing snowballs, and a salted-fish rocket launcher that creates temporary ice traps for tactical play.
