Al-Ramadi nominates Ahmed Samir to continue his journey with Zamalek in the new coaching staff.
Al-Ramadi nominates Ahmed Samir to remain part of Zamalek’s new coaching staff due to his notable technical role and familiarity with the team.
A source within Zamalek SC revealed that the team’s former head coach, Ayman Al-Ramadi, presented a series of recommendations to club president Hussein Labib during their recent meetings. These recommendations aimed to ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming phase and provide a technical vision to help build a strong coaching staff capable of leading the team to compete vigorously for all titles.
One of Al-Ramadi’s most notable recommendations was to retain Ahmed Samir as part of the new coaching staff, citing his high competency, leadership qualities, and strong communication with players, in addition to his deep understanding of the team’s internal dynamics. Al-Ramadi emphasized that Samir is one of the rising coaching talents in Egyptian football and possesses the technical mindset and vision that qualify him to be a valuable asset to any coaching setup, whether local or foreign.
The source confirmed that Al-Ramadi shared his perspective on the importance of utilizing Ahmed Samir in the upcoming phase, especially due to his thorough knowledge of the players’ abilities and internal team dynamics. This, according to Al-Ramadi, would be a great advantage for any incoming head coach by minimizing the time needed to assess the squad and its capabilities.
Ahmed Samir’s inclusion in the previous coaching staff was based on a direct request from Ayman Al-Ramadi, who insisted on his presence before beginning his tenure. Al-Ramadi had consistently expressed his belief in Samir’s coaching potential, often stating that he views him as one of the most promising young coaches with a bright future.
As part of Zamalek’s efforts to support the incoming coaching staff, the club has also decided to retain Captain Hazem Emam as a technical member of the new team. His continuation follows a strong performance in his previous role and the fact that he was the only member of the former staff not to be dismissed. He is expected to work alongside the new head coach, Belgian manager Yannick Ferrera, who is preparing to take charge of the White Knights.
