✈️ The Egypt women’s national football team, led by head coach Ahmed Ramadan, travels to Ghana today (Saturday) for the second leg of the final round of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, set for Tuesday, October 28, at the Accra Sports Stadium, following their 3–0 home defeat to Ghana in the first leg.
💪 The Pharaohs’ ladies are determined to stage a strong comeback and overturn the result to clinch qualification to the continental finals. Egypt reached this stage after eliminating Rwanda in the previous round, winning 1–0 away and drawing 2–2 at home, while Ghana advanced directly to this round.
🇪🇬 The Egyptian squad includes 26 players, featuring five overseas professionals from clubs in England, Denmark, Canada, and the United States, alongside Habiba Sabry and Habiba Essam, both nominated for CAF’s Best Goalkeeper and Best Young Player awards this year — a reflection of the growing strength of women’s football in Egypt.
