Ibrahim Yousry was born on April 20, 1950, in Cairo.

He enrolled in the Faculty of Commerce for two years before obtaining a Bachelor's degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1975.

He joined Taliyah Theater and then moved to television in the early 1980s.

Despite his exceptional talent, his cinematic work was fewer than his potential would suggest.
