🎬 Career

Began her film career as a child, playing Samir, the son of actress Shadia, in The Unknown Woman (1959).

Gained widespread fame through The Magic Lantern (1960) with Ismail Yassin.

Played the role of Zizi in The Zizi Family (1963), one of her most iconic performances.

Other notable films include: The Seven Girls, The Giant, Between Heaven and Earth, The Thief and the Dogs.

Acted in two TV series: The Red Headline (1964) and Storms (1965).

She retired at a young age at the peak of her success, joined the Ballet Institute, then got married and moved to the UAE, where she worked as a teacher.

She passed away on June 13, 2001, after performing the Hajj pilgrimage, due to complications from heart surgery.
