His Life

Rashwan Tawfiq graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and joined Egyptian television from its inception. He worked as a studio manager and later as an assistant director in the program "Who is the Guilty?". He also worked as a broadcaster and was one of the first to join the Television Theater Troupe, where he participated in its first play "Something in My Chest," directed by Noor El-Demerdash. He won the Best Supporting Actor Award for the film "A Crime in the Quiet Neighborhood."

 

He participated in various roles, including villainous, comedic, religious, and social roles, gaining widespread fame for his portrayal of rural Egyptian characters, especially in the series "The Faded Light" and "Night and Its End".
