📍 Born in Alexandria, he developed a passion for cinema from a young age, joining film clubs and launching a small magazine called "Cinema of the Pharaohs."
🎓 After graduating from the Faculty of Law in 1990, he moved to Cairo and enrolled in the Higher Institute of Cinema, graduating in 1994 with his graduation project film "Zamzam."
🎬 He is considered one of the pioneers of independent cinema in Egypt, directing numerous documentary and short narrative films.
