📍 Gamal El Leithy was born on February 27, 1926, in Cairo and graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy. He joined the Free Officers Movement and took part in the July 23, 1952 Revolution.
🏅 After the revolution, President Gamal Abdel Nasser assigned him to manage the Morale Affairs Department, and later he became the head of Cairo Cinema Company before founding his own film production company.
📽 He is considered one of the pioneers of Egyptian film production, having produced over 600 films that elevated Egyptian cinema to international recognition. Many of his films are regarded as classics of world cinema.
