The seminar "Theatrical Experiences in Accessibility and Inclusion" brought together artists and experts to discuss empowering people with disabilities in the theater field. Participants highlighted the importance of moving beyond traditional inclusion toward creating a professional artistic environment where everyone can create and succeed.

The event featured Dr. Eman Karim, President of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, actress Wafaa El Hakim, actress Amira Shawky, composer Dr. Karam Malak, and actor Karim El Husseiny.
Dr. Eman Karim discussed the council’s efforts in building partnerships with state institutions, highlighting the importance of cultural accessibility and awareness.
She explained that accessibility is not limited to physical arrangements but begins with changing attitudes and understanding the needs of people with disabilities.
Actress Wafaa El Hakim presented the experience of Sun Theater, explaining that it was created as a fully accessible artistic space for people with disabilities.
She highlighted the importance of workshops and training programs in discovering talents in acting, singing, and performing arts.
Amira Shawky emphasized that the goal should not only be inclusion but transforming theater itself into a space that naturally welcomes everyone.
Composer Dr. Karam Malak shared his long experience in teaching music to people with disabilities, explaining how his perspective changed after discovering their abilities.
Actor Karim El Husseiny discussed his personal experience, confirming that working with artists with disabilities changed his own view of life and art.
The participants agreed that art can transform society’s perception and create equal opportunities for talented individuals.
Composer Walid Saad has clarified that his dispute with singer Touleet is strictly related to copyright and intellectual property rights, stressing that the matter has nothing to do with any personal conflict.
