The widow of late actor Ihsan El-Turk shared heartfelt details about the days following her husband's passing. She revealed that Tamer Hosny was the first to reach out to her and her son, offering comfort and checking on them from the very first moments of grief.
“Before his death, Ihsan entrusted Tamer with caring for our son. And after the loss, Tamer continued to check on us daily and offered us emotional support,” she said.

In contrast, she expressed disappointment over Hassan Shakosh, who despite having met Ihsan shortly before his passing, made no effort to reach out or check on the family, a gesture she found deeply hurtful.
She also recounted the good relationship between her late husband and Mohamed Ramadan, who had worked together on the series Al Ostoura and shared mutual respect. Although Ramadan had thanked Ihsan personally before his death, the widow was surprised that he neither attended the funeral nor offered condolences.
“I never asked for money or gifts. I just expected a gesture of presence—some emotional support that would have meant a lot.”
Financial Hardship After Loss
Since Ihsan’s passing, she and her son have faced significant financial struggles. She revealed that she does not receive a government pension and has no fixed income.
“My son is doing what he can to help, but the cost of living is overwhelming. Our rent is 4,000 EGP a month, and expenses keep piling up.”
She hopes that relevant authorities will intervene to provide a basic pension that could guarantee a dignified life and alleviate the financial pressure now resting solely on her shoulders.A Call for Compassion
In closing, she made an emotional appeal to artists and officials, emphasizing that she isn’t seeking lavish support but rather a simple gesture of sympathy and recognition for her husband’s long artistic journey.
“Any sincere gesture would bring back a sense of emotional stability in this difficult time,” she said.
