Fifi Abdou drops a bombshell: "No cosmetic surgery… and people have become harsh!"
Fifi Abdou denies undergoing cosmetic surgery and affirms: "My body doesn’t heal easily, and people envy me… I keep reciting my prayers."

In a candid and spontaneous conversation, the beloved actress Fifi Abdou appeared before her audience in a special interview with media personality Yasmin Ezz on the show “Kalam El Nass” aired on MBC Masr on Friday evening. She set the record straight regarding the ongoing rumors about undergoing cosmetic surgeries, firmly denying them and affirming that she has never had any surgical cosmetic procedures—neither minor nor major.
With her well-known sense of humor, Fifi laughed and said, “I’ve never had surgery in my life. My body doesn’t heal well, and people don’t believe it. Every day I hear a new rumor. Whenever I attend an event or appear on a show, I see comments saying I’m not aging or that I look the same, and that makes me say: Guys, I’m the same person. God has blessed me, and I always recite my prayers to protect myself from envy.”
She paused for a moment, then continued with a tone mixing reproach and realism, “People have become very harsh. Instead of looking at each other with love, we’ve become envious and jealous. I feel like we’ve turned into a society that looks for flaws, not beauty. Before they bury the dead, they look for the inheritance. Before someone lives their life, they get judged for every breath, every photo, every move.”
Fifi spoke about the passage of time, emphasizing how fast life moves. With a tone of transparent sorrow, she said, “The years are flying by, and so is my life. Sometimes, when I look in the mirror, I ask myself: Where did all those days go? But even so, I still have hope, and I still pray that God grants me a long life—not for fame or the spotlight, but so I can spend more time with the people I love, with my children, with my fans who have never abandoned me.”
She clarified that she doesn’t see herself as a “beauty icon” by today’s standards but believes in inner beauty, stressing that real beauty doesn’t come from Botox or surgery, but from within—from the heart, from a pure smile, and from the love inside a person. She added, “Anyone who loves themselves and is content with their life will always remain beautiful, no matter how old they get or how their features change.”
With a smile infused with wisdom, she said, “People always ask me: How do you stay youthful? And I always reply simply: The secret is contentment, love, and forgiveness. I’ve never gone to bed with hatred in my heart for anyone, and I’ve never held grudges. Even those who hurt me—I forgive them and move on. Maybe that’s why God gave me a cheerful face and a smile that always lights up my features.”
In another part of the interview, she opened up about the hardships she faced in life and how she managed to overcome them, noting that the entertainment world isn’t the easy ride many imagine. “I didn’t get to where I am easily or with a magic wand. It took hard work, exhaustion, and years on stage. There were many days I came home barely able to stand, but I kept going because I love what I do and I love my fans.”
She stressed that her life wasn’t paved with roses, but was full of ups and downs—moments of joy and pain. Yet she learned how to stand tall no matter what. “I’m a woman of steel. I thank God every day that I’m still standing, still smiling, still able to love life despite everything.”
On her relationship with social media, Fifi said she doesn’t give much attention to the heavy criticism because she lives for herself, not to please others. “Trying to please everyone will never work. I don’t want to please anyone—I want to be real, to be myself. Those who love me as I am, I welcome them with open arms. And those who don’t, I wish them happiness in their lives.”
She went on to discuss the negative trends now dominating human relationships, particularly envy and intrusion into others’ lives. She said that after many years of fame and success, she’s realized people’s hearts have changed, and there’s a lack of love and compassion. “People used to visit each other, check in on one another. Now, everyone sees each other through their phone and thinks they know everything. But the truth is, we’ve become distant. There’s no more love, no more kindness.”
She emphasized the importance of holding onto beautiful values like forgiveness, contentment, and acceptance of others. She urged people to return to simplicity and love: “God created us to love, not to hate, envy, or judge each other. Everyone is going through something. If we just focused on ourselves and let others live their lives, maybe we’d all be happier.”
At the end of her talk, she gave a heartfelt message to the audience, especially young people: “Always be real. Don’t change yourself to please others. Live your life, fill your heart with love and joy. If you’re content with yourself, God will always bless you. And if you ever feel alone, remember that God is with you—and Fifi Abdou loves you.”
Fifi Abdou’s words reflected the honest mirror of a woman who has lived in the limelight but still holds onto a transparent spirit and a heart full of love. With her determination to keep going despite all odds, she proves once again that she’s more than just an entertainer—she’s a strong personality capable of defying time and continuing forward with her smile, courage, and sincerity.
