The renowned artist Majd Al Qassem has unveiled his latest song “El Doktora”, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey through a collaboration with producer Richard El Hajj.
Written and composed by Samer Shamsi Basha and arranged by Taha El Hakim, the song has been officially released on YouTube and various digital music platforms.
Majd described the project as “a fresh and exciting idea that felt right from the first listen,” adding that he and his team worked passionately to perfect its sound and emotion.
The lyrics carry a soft, romantic tone that blends Syrian and Egyptian dialects, telling a story of instant admiration for a charming woman — “El Doktora.” The chorus goes:
“What did the doctor do to me, oh my, she’s so beautiful and sweet, the moment I saw her, I wanted to see her every hour…”
Speaking about his collaboration with Richard El Hajj, Majd praised the producer’s dedication to preserving authentic music, away from noise and commercial repetition, noting that their partnership will continue with more upcoming projects.
Earlier this year, Majd released his full album “Bashwati”, featuring around ten songs that range from romantic to dramatic tones, reflecting his classic artistic approach that has long been beloved across the Arab world.
He concluded: “True art lives forever. I always aim to deliver songs that people can respect, feel, and remember.”
