Actor Mohamed Emam responded humorously to the ongoing discussions about the highest-paid and most-watched actors, posting on Facebook:
"Enough everyone, stop crying, nothing happened. You all have the highest pay, the highest views, the highest everything. Let us work in peace, please, there’s no time."
Emam clarified that his post was not directed at any individual:
"I don’t know why some people thought I posted for someone specific. I meant it for everyone, and let’s be serious for a bit. I never had anyone in mind, and that’s what I learned from my father, may God keep him for us."
He also reflected on the challenges of being the son of one of the greatest stars in history:
"Being the son of the greatest star in history and reaching where I am today wasn’t easy at all. This was thanks to your love and support after God’s grace."
Emam added:
