The German police have successfully located the body of Eman Mohamed Hassan, a 34-year-old Egyptian woman who had been missing for several months under mysterious circumstances. The case dates back to November 11, 2024, when Eman left her apartment and never returned, prompting a relative to report her disappearance to the police in the city of Bad Aibling.

Since that date, search efforts continued for an extended period, covering hospitals and her social surroundings, but without any notable results.

In a sudden development, German authorities announced that Eman's body was discovered on Sunday, June 15, in a forested area near the town of Thann, less than five kilometers from her residence. Stephan Sonntag, the official spokesperson for the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters, stated that the discovery happened by coincidence after a passerby reported seeing a child’s bicycle and helmet by the roadside, raising concerns about a possible missing child or an accident.
Police forces immediately launched an extensive search operation using a helicopter and tracking dogs. During the search, a human body was found at the site. Sonntag noted that the body was visible and could be accessed without the need for special equipment or technology.

Authorities identified the deceased through a khaki headscarf found near the body. Although police have not yet issued an official statement on the exact circumstances of the discovery, forensic examinations confirmed through autopsy that the body indeed belonged to Eman Mohamed Hassan, who had been reported missing nearly seven months earlier.

Investigations are still ongoing to uncover all details surrounding the incident and the cause of death.
