According to the father’s account, four suspects — including a girl — were lying in wait for Youssef and his friends on the morning of the exam. As soon as they left the house, three of the suspects attacked them violently, leaving the student drenched in blood.

An Old Dispute Sparked the Assault
A source close to the family revealed that the attack was triggered by a fight that took place in front of the school a day before the incident, between Youssef’s friends and a group of suspects, due to a conflict with the brother of a female student. Ahmed Abu El-Magd, known in the media as the “Traffic Boy,” is suspected of leading the assault as an act of revenge.
Cameras Recorded the Crime… and Security Acts
Surveillance cameras around the school captured the details of the ambush, which helped security forces arrest one of those involved, while efforts continue to apprehend the others.
The family’s lawyer confirmed that Youssef’s health condition remains unstable, calling for the swift prosecution of all those responsible for this heinous crime.
