Operation Room for Hajj Lottery… The Beating Heart of Organization to Ensure Pilgrims’ Safety
An integrated system serving Hajj lottery pilgrims operates around the clock to ensure comfort and safety through coordination among specialized officers.

The Operations Room of the Hajj Lottery Mission: The Beating Heart of Organization to Ensure Pilgrims’ Safety
The operations room of the Hajj Lottery mission continues its intensive efforts around the clock, 24 hours a day, to ensure the comfort and safety of Egyptian pilgrims from the moment they arrive in the Holy Lands until their return home. This is achieved through a comprehensive system managed by a team of specialized officers in various fields, following a precise executive plan aimed at achieving the highest level of organization and service.
Multiple Roles to Ensure Smooth Operations
The Operations Officer closely monitors pilgrims’ movements, from the stages of allocation (tafweej) until reaching their accommodations, coordinating with airport officers to ensure the smooth flow of groups without delays or confusion.
The Transport Officer is responsible for organizing the movement of buses carrying pilgrims and monitoring their travel between the sacred sites. They also allocate vehicles for emergency cases or lost pilgrims to quickly return them to their accommodations.
The Luggage Officer tracks the movement of luggage moment by moment, both upon arrival and in cases of loss, ensuring bags are delivered to their owners in coordination with airport officers in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Meals Officer handles the distribution of dry meals, water, and Zamzam water bottles in Mecca, Medina, and during the pilgrims’ stay in Arafat and Mina, ensuring basic needs are met.
The IT Officer supervises the management of the digital database of pilgrims, providing real-time updated data that enables quick access to any information in emergencies.
The Hospitals Officer monitors the health status of pilgrims in coordination with medical teams and Saudi authorities, overseeing the transfer of patients to hospitals and ensuring they receive appropriate care, including critical cases requiring ambulance transport on the Day of Arafat.
The Inquiries Officer handles pilgrims’ and their relatives’ inquiries, both inside the Kingdom and in Egypt, facilitating communication through dedicated phone lines.
The Hotel Officer supervises pilgrims’ reception and room allocation upon arrival, using an electronic system based on a barcode assigned to each pilgrim, linking their data, luggage, and room to ensure immediate and accurate delivery.
A Proactive Step for Jamrah Distribution
For the first time this year, the mission distributed Jamrah bags to pilgrims before heading to Muzdalifah, to reduce the stopover time there and limit it to performing only Maghrib and Isha prayers. This step aims to ease the burden and save effort and time.
The Hajj Lottery Operations Room exemplifies an advanced model of smart management and complete coordination, dedicated to the comfort and safety of Egyptian pilgrims at every step of their spiritual journey.
