Police in the German city of Bad Aibling have revealed heartbreaking developments in the case of Eman Mohamed Hassan, the Egyptian woman who had been missing for several months under mysterious circumstances. Her body was found in a forest, and preliminary investigations confirmed that she died as a result of violence, raising strong suspicions about her husband's involvement.

A Tip Leads to the Discovery of the Body
The case began to unfold when a local citizen reported seeing a child’s bicycle and helmet on a dirt path inside a forest near the area of Elmosen, part of the municipality of Bad Aibling. Fearing a missing child, police launched an extensive search operation.
During the search, a police dog managed to locate a partially buried body in the forest. The area was immediately cordoned off, and forensic experts along with the criminal investigation department in Rosenheim were called to the scene.

Victim Identified – Signs of Violence Confirmed
The body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Munich on the same day. Under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, a thorough forensic examination was conducted. On June 16, the results confirmed that the remains belonged to Eman Mohamed Hassan, who had been reported missing for several months. The forensic report also indicated clear signs of physical violence, reinforcing suspicions of murder.
Husband Named as Main Suspect
Based on the new evidence, police suspected the involvement of the victim’s husband — a 43-year-old Egyptian man — especially after finding indications of his direct connection to the crime. The Traunstein Public Prosecutor’s Office, Rosenheim branch, formally requested an arrest warrant on charges of murder.
The suspect was arrested on the morning of June 17 without resistance by a special criminal investigation unit. Later the same day, he appeared before the investigating judge, who ordered his detention pending further investigation.

Fate of the Children and Further Details Await Investigation
So far, neither the police nor the prosecution have issued any official statements regarding the fate of the couple’s children or additional details about the motive. Authorities stated that more information will be released in coordination with the Upper Bavaria South Police Directorate, which is leading the investigation.
