The occupation announces the elimination of senior leaders in Gaza… and the resistance responds with painful strikes
The occupation army announces the killing of leaders from the Mujahideen Brigades in central Gaza, as the factions continue their precision strikes.
The Israeli occupation army claimed, in an official statement, that it successfully killed commanders Ali Al-Saadi and Tafi Al-Agha, two of the most prominent leaders of the Mujahideen Brigades, during a military operation targeting them inside a hideout in central Gaza.
The army explained that the operation was based on precise intelligence information and was directed by the Shin Bet security agency. It noted that the operation included intensive strikes on more than 300 targets across various parts of the Gaza Strip. The targets included military sites, weapons storage facilities, anti-armor positions, and sniper centers.
The statement added that Tafi Al-Agha served as the military commander of the Mujahideen Brigades’ South Gaza brigade.
In response, Palestinian factions continued their operations against the occupation forces. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced earlier that it had sniped an Israeli soldier east of Al-Muntar Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. The Brigades also reported the destruction of three Merkava tanks with powerful roadside bombs east of Jabalia, where the wreckage of the tanks was seen scattered across the area.
Meanwhile, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, announced that its fighters had managed to seize control of an Israeli Matrice 600 drone that was carrying bombs and mortar shells intended for vertical drop, east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza.
In another operation, Al-Qassam Brigades targeted an Israeli military force east of Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis, causing direct injuries among the force after detonating an anti-personnel explosive device.
In a subsequent joint statement, both the Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for destroying two armored personnel carriers using two highly explosive "Shawaz" devices, which led to the vehicles catching fire. Israeli helicopters were seen landing at the scene to evacuate the wounded.
