In a tragic development in the case of the disappearance of Egyptian young woman Eman Mohamed in Germany, her family has announced the date of her body’s arrival in Egypt, after it was found in a forest in the state of Bavaria—an incident that sparked wide sympathy among the Egyptian community abroad and public opinion at home.

According to statements from her sister, Eman's body is scheduled to arrive at Cairo International Airport tomorrow, Sunday, June 22, 2025, in preparation for the burial in her hometown, after completing official procedures for repatriation with the German authorities.
Earlier, the victim’s family had announced a funeral prayer in absentia for her soul, which was held on Friday at the Islamic Center in the Freimann district of Munich, Germany, immediately after the noon prayer. A large number of Arab and Egyptian community members attended the service to pray and pay their respects amid an atmosphere of deep sorrow.

The Islamic Center had called on all men and women from the community to participate in the prayer, offer condolences, and pray for the deceased—asking God to grant her mercy and paradise, and to grant her family patience and strength in their tragic loss.
