Specialists explain that consuming large amounts of food over a few days does not automatically lead to fat gain, emphasizing that weight gain is a slow process that develops over time. The body cannot accumulate significant fat from a short period of indulgence alone.

The real issue, they say, lies in prolonged inactivity. Long hours of sitting—whether watching television, attending family gatherings, or traveling—slow down metabolism and reduce the body’s ability to burn sugar and fat efficiently.
