Investigation Developments Regarding Missing Phones
Prosecution Reveals New Details
Public prosecution investigations revealed new information regarding the disappearance of Dr. Ahmed El-Dagwy’s two phones after his death, an issue that raised questions from the first days after his body was discovered.
The matter became more widely discussed following statements by his brother Amr El-Dagwy, who said the phones were missing and believed they had been stolen from the death scene.

Statement About Taking the Phones
The investigations included the testimony of Ahmed El-Dagwy’s private driver, Sayed Abu Bakr Youssef, 43, who stated that he saw lawyer Yasser Saleh, Ahmed El-Dagwy’s lawyer, taking the two phones from the dressing room where the body was located.
The driver said the lawyer placed the phones inside his black bag before police arrived and then asked him not to mention the matter to anyone.
He added that the lawyer arrived at the villa on May 25, 2025, to attend a scheduled meeting with Ahmed El-Dagwy and lawyer Ehab Assem, but learned of El-Dagwy’s death upon arrival and immediately went to the room where the body was located.

The driver stated that one of the phones was an iPhone 14 regularly used by the deceased, while the other was a Samsung phone.
He explained that he could not identify their colors because both devices had protective covers.
He also confirmed that he and lawyer Ehab Assem were the two people who witnessed the phone-taking incident, noting that Assem did not object at the time.
The driver added that the deceased’s wife, Nesreen Saeed, did not witness what happened because she was overwhelmed after learning about the death.
Driver Questioned Over Delayed Disclosure
Reason Behind His Silence
