Court Postpones Compensation Case Against Ahmed Salah Hosni Over Employee Car Damage to October 29
The court has postponed the compensation case against Ahmed Salah Hosni, after hearing eyewitnesses regarding the incident that caused the destruction of an employee’s car and injuries, to October 29 for submission of documents from both sides.
Today, Wednesday, the competent court in Al-Tajammou’ Al-Khames heard eyewitness testimonies in the compensation case filed by employee Mohamed M. against actor Ahmed Salah Hosni, following an incident in which Hosni caused damage to the claimant’s car and injured him.
The lawsuit demands compensation of 1 million EGP, and the court decided to postpone the session until October 29 to allow both parties to present all necessary documents and evidence.
Earlier, the New Cairo Misdemeanor Court ruled that the criminal case against Ahmed Salah Hosni was dismissed after a settlement in the criminal aspect between the parties. However, the civil claim remains ongoing, as the plaintiff seeks financial compensation for material and moral damages.
The victim, engineer Mohamed, explained that the criminal settlement was amicably concluded, yet the civil claim was not included, noting that the compensation sought relates to the damage caused to his car and the injury affecting his ability to work temporarily.
A judicial source indicated that in the upcoming session, the court will review medical and technical documents and expert reports to determine the actual damages, which will affect the final compensation amount claimed from Ahmed Salah Hosni.
