Security forces in Sharqia have uncovered the details of a widely circulated social media video showing a group of girls assaulting another student, amid claims that a sharp object was used during the incident.
Investigations revealed that the incident took place on March 28, when a housewife filed a complaint at Zagazig Second Police Station, accompanied by her daughter, a student who sustained a head bruise. She accused four other students of verbally and physically assaulting her daughter after leaving a private lesson.
Authorities found that the altercation began as a joke that escalated into a dispute and eventually turned into a physical confrontation. The accused girls denied using any sharp objects, stating that the incident involved only verbal and physical aggression.
They also filed a counterclaim, accusing the victim of verbally insulting them, which contributed to the escalation.
The four girls were arrested, and upon questioning, they admitted their involvement. Legal procedures have been initiated, and the public prosecution has taken over the investigation.
This incident sheds light on rising aggressive behavior among students outside school environments, highlighting the need for increased awareness and positive behavioral guidance.
