Egypt’s Interior Ministry has revealed the details of two separate family disputes in Qalyubia and Giza (Sheikh Zayed), both of which escalated into altercations and ended with the arrest of all involved parties.

First Incident: Qalyubia Family Dispute

The case began after a video circulated online showing a man claiming he and his family were attacked in front of their residence using bladed weapons.

Security Investigation Results

Authorities found that the incident was a mutual fight involving the complainant, relatives, neighbors, and three other individuals, triggered by family disputes over kinship, with both sides exchanging accusations and violence.

Arrests and Evidence

Both parties were arrested, and a wooden stick and a bladed weapon were seized. All individuals exchanged accusations before being referred to the public prosecution.

Second Incident: Sheikh Zayed Family Altercation

In a separate case, security forces arrested individuals involved in a family dispute inside a residence in Sheikh Zayed, Giza.

Details of the Dispute

The altercation involved a female actress, her sister and daughter, and her sister’s husband, escalating from verbal arguments to physical confrontation.

Legal Action Taken

All parties were detained, an official report was filed, and investigations are ongoing to determine the causes of the dispute.
