In moments of hardship and distress, hearts turn to the heavens seeking relief, as supplication is one of the greatest means of connection between a servant and his Lord.
Many people repeat prayers for fulfilling needs and increasing sustenance, with full belief that response lies only with God, and that good expectations of Him are key to acceptance.
Dar al-Ifta Egypt clarified that persistent supplication with certainty is among the causes of answered prayers, and that reciting the Quran with the intention of fulfilling needs is permissible and blessed.
