During his comments on the "Leebah wel Tanyah" program on Mega FM radio, Ramzy explained that Hussein El Shahat missed a golden opportunity that could have secured the win for Al Ahly, as he mishandled a clear scoring chance.
He added that this match was one of those where you could say "hard luck for Al Ahly," given that the team created several clear chances and could have scored two or more goals, but luck was not on their side.He also addressed the penalty kick controversy, noting that the designated order of penalty takers was: Wissam Abou Ali first, followed by Zizo, then Trezeguet. He expressed his frustration with how the penalty was taken, saying it was inappropriate, especially coming from a player of Trezeguet’s caliber.
Ramzy stressed the importance of coach Ricardo Ribeiro asserting more control over the team’s star players, warning that a lack of discipline in such situations could lead to negative consequences.
He praised Mohamed El Shenawy’s performance, describing it as outstanding, and commended Yasser Ibrahim, calling him “a rock in defense” for his strong display against Inter Miami.
Ramzy also voiced his admiration for Marwan Attia, considering him Al Ahly’s best player in the match due to his role in minimizing Lionel Messi’s threat. He added that the team’s physical decline in the second half contributed to their overall drop in performance.
