Media personality Abdel Nasser Zidan has revealed the latest developments regarding the contract renewals of Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany, two first-team players at Al Ahly.
Speaking on the “Stad Masr” program on Modern MTI, Zidan said Al Ahly have decided to freeze negotiations over the players’ new contracts for the time being.
He said: “Al Ahly have frozen negotiations over the contract renewals of Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany at the current stage.”

According to Zidan, the club’s decision to suspend the talks came after Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany insisted on receiving a contract bonus as part of their new agreements.
He said: “Al Ahly officials decided to stop negotiations with Yasser Ibrahim, the team’s defender, and Mohamed Hany, the right-back, over renewing their contracts after the players insisted on receiving a contract bonus.”

He said: “Al Ahly officials decided to leave the ball in Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim’s court to determine their positions, whether by agreeing to renew or continuing with the team until the end of the season.”
