Shokry Gharib has started a new chapter in his football career after the Egyptian Football Association board, headed by Engineer Hany Abou Rida, announced his appointment as the association’s technical director, replacing Alaa Nabil.

Gharib is considered one of the most experienced figures in Egyptian football, especially after his successful period as assistant coach to Hassan Shehata during Egypt’s golden era, when the national team won three consecutive Africa Cup of Nations titles in 2006, 2008, and 2010. 🏆🔥
