Al Ahly SC has taken a major escalation step by filing an official complaint with the Public Prosecutor, along with a report to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, against Modern MTI channel 💣⚽ over what it described as false information affecting the club’s stability and image.
In its statement, the club said the complaint was due to statements aired on one of the channel’s programs, which it described as “false allegations” ❌⚽, particularly concerning club president Mahmoud El Khatib and the board’s position.
The club denied claims about internal conflicts or any boycott by the president 🔴⚽, stressing that the board operates in an organized manner with clearly defined responsibilities among its members.
Al Ahly emphasized that duties are distributed according to a structured administrative vision that serves the club’s interests, while Mahmoud El Khatib continues to oversee strategic matters 💼🏆.
The statement also dismissed rumors of internal crises, confirming that the club remains stable and that such reports aim only to create unrest among fans ⚽💣.
Al Ahly concluded by affirming its commitment to taking all necessary legal actions against media violations, stressing that the club’s legacy and value are greater than any attempts to spread misinformation 🔥🏆.
