Media presenter Amir Hesham, during his program "Plus 90" on Al-Nahar TV channel, confirmed that Al Ahly Club is currently reviewing several official offers to hold the team's external training camp in preparation for the new football season, alongside the Spanish offer that has received significant attention and positivity from the club’s management.
Hesham explained that the submitted offers are not limited to Spain only, but also include other countries such as Austria and Tunisia, providing Al Ahly’s management with multiple options to choose the best destination that meets all the team’s training and preparation requirements.
He pointed out that Al Ahly’s management prioritizes holding the camp in either Spain or Tunisia, as the opportunities are equal between the two countries to host the Red Team, while Austria remains a secondary option studied carefully after a comprehensive review of all the offers.
The presenter emphasized that Al Ahly’s management pays great attention to various aspects related to each offer, starting from the quality of training facilities to climatic conditions, organizational procedures, and logistical arrangements that ensure the comfort of players and the technical staff throughout the camp period.
He also noted that the external training camp is a fundamental part of the team’s preparation plan, as the coaching staff aims to make the most of this period to develop the players’ physical and technical aspects and achieve full team cohesion before the official competitions begin.
Hesham clarified that there is continuous monitoring by the club’s management to ensure all conditions that help prepare the players mentally and physically are met, stressing the importance of this preparation which directly affects the team’s overall performance during the new season.
He added that the final decision regarding the camp’s location will be made in the coming days after completing all negotiations and consultations with the technical and administrative staff, taking into consideration the players’ opinions and the specific circumstances of each option.
